resistor

Hello all,

I have a quick question. My 72 Duster has a 2 speed wiper motor. There are the two connections on the wiring for the resistor thats on some wiper motors. Mine does not have the resistor. I know the correct one is part no. 2822261. My question is can I simply add this one, or is it not necessary?

Does your car still have the wiring and plugs ? That wiper motor has its own harness the unplugs from the motor unlike the three speed or variable speed.

Hi Steve I replaced the wiring harness and it does have the plugs for the resistor. The new wiper motor does not have the resistor on it. Any ideas grately appreciated.
