Radio for my 1966 Barracuda S.
Ok So Im almost done with my sweet crazy idea. I picked up a cheap original AM radio from ebay for $10, gutted it and installed an Alpine Cd player in the housing. Used some closed cell door weatherstripping foam to finish it off and make it "snug". Used the original knobs, buttons and faceplate to make my own "AM radio" faceplate that I can stick over the Cd player which will be mounted a little deep into the dash. Thinking about using velcro or something to do that. Now I can have a bone-stock original looking dash with a nice cd player that no one will steal :)
The little open space on the left I made to stick USB flashdrives in since this will play mp3's on a USB :)

If you want to know how I did anything the answer will either be "JB weld or Superglue" . . . you do the math ;)

Wow, that's thinking out of the box, never would have occurred to me. Nice work!

In mine, Im planning to use an iPod. I want to put the jack on the front of the shifter housing.

Cool work.
