Restored 1950's steel wheel roller skates

My great find from the flea market today for baby, Even though he wont be a baby when he can ride these over half a century old roller skates. No pis of the whole an original i was to excited to restore them for my baby

after purchasing and restoring them since i had everything already i say i have 10bucks in them total, i always see these in antique thrift and flea markets but these ones were in my range yesterday.

these are Union Hardware Company Torrrington,Connecticut good Ole us steel:blob:

i bought these fully thinking he will ware them and use them (hes 3months old now) i just thought they were super cool and beat to crap ones in antique stores are like 50bucks:banghead:

let me know what u guys think.

they were safe for the 50's there OK now right ? lol

Had a similar pair as a kid. Somewhat painful, but we could make sparks skating after dark.
 
nice sparks! lol I'm sure they were not super comfortable either there solid steel. only thing I'm missing is the key but a wrench works fine, i have then set to the smallest they adjust pretty big.
 
Very cool. I posted a pic of this little resto project on here months back and got blaster because it was not Mopar car related.
Car or not, it's cool stuff..:)

damn that is cool, if i had more momney that day at the flea market there was a 1960's murray tricycle with a gas tank on it it looked waaaaaay wicked!
