Anyone tried to get some moisture back into their old seats? Mine are i great shape but being so old they've gotten pretty dried out. I'm thinking some good leather wipes might help but hoping someone has some tips for me. I was going to take them to my friends bodyshop and steam clean them but that might be to much moisture to fast. any help would be much appreciated.

best thing i found is gojo brand hand cleaner it is not abrasive. you just rub it in good then take a spray bottle with water and towels mist seat down with water after rubbing gojo on it wipe clean. remeber to use gojo hand cleaner only because it has no abrasives in it. this works great on door panels as well.Let me know how it turns out.

If I am not mistaken, vinyl elasticity will deteriorate over years as the chemical compound breaks down. I think the process can be slowed with use of some protectants and it can certainly be accelerated with exposure to sunlight.
