Hey all!

I ordered a right front caliper from cardone and from what I can see a left front came. This may sound stupid but are they interchangeable per side?

NO, are you sure they're the same ? One of those may be for a Mustang

The one on the left is what came off the car. Sent it in to have it rebuilt and the core was too far gone. And the other is the one I ordered. Looks identical to the left side one. Part number on the box is correct. But zero quality control at the rebuild facility to which caliper goes in which box.

A Kelsey Hayes, "Mustang" caliper can easily be determined from a Mopar one, is on the Ford caliper brake hose screws directly into the body of the caliper, where a Mopar caliper uses a hard metal line, and then the brake hose screws onto that.

EDIT:
Here's a picture or two of a "MUSTANG" caliper, what I'm talking about, with the brake hose screwing directly into the body of the caliper.

They don't look identical to me. All the threaded line holes look either not there or in different areas.
Bleader valve is different also.

That looks like a way easier setup than trying to hold the flex bracket and the caliper all together as one haha!

I agree with you, there.
I think The Kelsey Hayes, Mustang calipers with the hose bolting directly into the caliper is a much better arrangement.
Don't know the reason why Mopar had to use a hard line, a hose bracket, then the rubber hose bolting down onto the hard line?
