Right stuff brake booster brake pedal bolt problem need help!

Well i just installed my 8” Right stuff power booster and the new mopar shoulder brake pedal bolt will not go into booster shaft. This is the bolt that goes through brake pedal. The shaft hole is too small. Has this happened to anyone and solution? I dont want to drill it larger because i done believe it will be a smooth surface. Really pissed with right stuff right now
