Ring and Pinion

Looking to up grade my rear end. Currently have a automatic and a 2.73 and want to swap to a 3.23 or a 3.55 . But am planning to swap to in a A833 4 speed in the near future. Will the the 3.55 be to much for the A833 or the 904 automatic?

The tire height makes a big difference on the "final drive ratio" so with short tires, lets say 24-25" tall which is really short, it might be revving a little hard above 60 mph, but even then it wouldn't be real bad. If your running a taller tire (mostly what you see nowadays) that's 26-28" tall they work great. I have 3.55's in my car along with 27.7" tall tires and love them. Nice balance of good acceleration and good street manners.
