Hello all!
I bought myself a rock solid 67 Barracuda that was obviously stripped of its rust free panels many years ago. Fortunately some one back then realized that the car was so solid it needed to go back together. So I now have a Joe Dirt looking fast back thats got unoriginal doors & front clip. The panels are all 67 correct except for the passenger fender is a 68 & the drivers door is a 69. The only panel that has any rust is the drivers door. Well I've managed to find another Cuda guy locally that has a 67 door shell. (I haven't seen it yet)
But last night while re-watching the Barracuda episode of ROADKILL they ran into door glass issues between the 67door & the 68/69 glass (I know that was a coupe). That being said I could get rid of the only rusty panel on my car (69 door) with the correct 67 door (shell only).
So my question is: whats the difference (if any) in the door glass between the 67 & 69?. I'm not 100% sure what year the door glass is to begin with...
Is there a way to make the 69 glass assembly mount into the 67 door?
Thanks all!

Do a search on here..I think myself and member vdart shared info/pics to do with 67-9 doors and glass.
I know one of them (69 I think) have a hole in the bottom of the glass where a plastic piece goes thru.
Good luck and welcome aboard from 67 fastback and 69 vert owner.

Come on Steve you think, are you geting old cant remember lol.

I would think if you are getting a 67 door shell, transfer all of your internals from the 69 door and you'll be good to go.... regulator, slides, tracks, rollers, glass, etc, etc, etc.....

A 67 shell will provide headaches. The vent window frames are attached differently, the lock rod/button in different location, etc.. etc... Even the armrests are attached differently.
As for that episode of roadkill and their mismatch of door glass and quarter glass, I think they placed a fatback door w/glass on a coupe which wouldn't work in any year model.

X100 Redfish knows what he is talking about

I have never owned a pre-70 fish, but roadkill normally don't have many windows that work in their cars.
