I seem to have excessive play in a few of the rocker arms on my 340. [SIZE=-1]Especially one on [/SIZE]the intake side. How do I go about finding and or fixing the problem. Or is it common to have a little bit of play.

Assuming you have the stock rocker arm / shaft set up, the answer is yes there will some play. Since this set up consists of the stamped steel rockers on the shafts with the standard hold downs, there's not precise control of the rocker arm positioning as with other rocker arm set ups where you might use shims to center the rocker arms properly. I guess you could say the stock rockers are just kinda "self-centering". LOL
