Rocker panel on 71 Darts?

I've noticed that the rocker panels on some 71 Darts are straight to the rear wheelwells where mine is downswept. Is this because mine was built in Canada or is there some other reason or maybe I'm just seeing things?

Also.... how do I know if my car is a Swinger or a Custom without having the fender tag or build sheet?

on 70 71 darts.Not that they didn come on other years,i just look at 70-71 darts because thats what im into.I think most of the swingers with the chrome package had these thin rocker mouldings,that turn down at the rear.Maybe the plain,non swinger darts had a straight thicker moulding,but i dont think they were avalible until later,like 72.

As far as I know 71 turned down and 70 was straight.

I agree with Adam, 70's are straight, 71's slope down, and then 72-76 are straight again. But I have seen a handful of 71's that were flat, it might have something to do with the build date.
