For a 64/65 Barracuda/Valiant, how is the rocker panel below the door held in place? I am guessing multiple clips? If so, how many clips and do I have to drill holes if the car didnt originally come with the rocker panel trim?
thanks!

Try using "3M" double sided trim mounting tape. You might have to double it up. Thats better than drilling holes, and I have heard the mounting clips are very hard to find.

The clips are a wierd wide plastic clip. The way they mounted is what was wierd about them. They are a 2 piece clip. The main body of the clip is a large square body with 4 tabs. These 4 tabs go into the hole in the rocker and the other piece of the clip is a round plastic dowel pin that expands the tabs out locking them into place. If you have removed one of your door windows it is a very similar setup to what they used to hold the glass to the regulator. And before you ask the glass clip will not work for trim.

I think there is 1 screw on the front edge of the trim but my memory is hazy. My trim has been off the car for 10 years cuz I couldn't find clips when it was painted.
