Just finishing installing the inner valve springs and need the rocker shaft stud torque specs. Heads are Edelbrock/indy TA's, comp solid .540/.547. not sure of the rocker or shaft manufacturer, but they are 1.6 rollers(blue in color), (3/8?)studs with thick flat washers and nuts.

Good set up. Studs are the way to go. I would just tighten in till it seems right, lol and have a drop of locktight on the threads. Too tight the shaft will bend but those are heavy duty shafts. Best to guesstimate the torque.

If you broke bolts or bended shafts before you get a feel for it. I find those aren't all the same, some feel like they want 35 lbs, others feel good at 30 lbs. The threads in the head can pull out too.

Hey if your using studs;just a gentle reminder to use a bottom tap in all the holes the studs are going in. You need full thread engagement to get a proper torque reading.
