Roof insulation

I'm told that from the factory early As would have jute insulation between the headliner and sheet metal. What adhesive would be best to prevent that stuff from letting go and bagging out your headliner?

3M makes an aerosol spray adhesive that works very well for the headliner insulation. It can be found in most all hardware stores
