I have a lightly used set of 8 small block Ross domed pistons in a 4.070 bore size. The part number is 99626. This was used for about 20 quarter mile runs in a standard stroke 340 engine (3.31 stroke). All skirts, ring lands and piston tops are in great shape.
Description from Summit Racing is as follows.
Bore (in): 4.070 in.
Piston Material: Forged aluminum
Compression Distance (in): 1.804 in.
Piston Head Volume (cc): -12.60cc
Wrist Pin Style: Press-fit or floating
Pin Diameter (in): 0.984 in.
Piston Ring Thickness: 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. x 3/16 in.
Ross Racing pistons are forged from 2618-T61 aluminum alloy and come standard with a ton of great features, including:
* Forced piston-pin oilers
* Valve pockets engineered for oversized valves and modern high-lift cams
* Fully CNC-machined skirts to deal with high heat and side loadings
* Radiused domes (on most applications)
* Balanced to +/- 2.5 grams
* Aircraft-quality pins
Compression with a 65 cc head chamber, a 0.040 thick head gasket and installed at zero deck height is ~ 12.5 to 1.
Price is $400 shipped in the lower 48 states.
PM me with any questions or for more pictures.
