my brother has had rotties for several years- they've easily become my favorite breed- great dogs.

They are supercool dogs. Far more intellingent than most give them credit for.

I think Bear is going to be a pain in the rear, lol!

Yup, I've had a couple of rots, they are so smart that if you throw a ball and want them to get it they just look at you with that "really" look and then decide if they want to get it or not. Big snuggly things, rather have one of them in the house than almost anyother breed with the kids.

My one rott loves fetch, the other is like "well, i'll just chase and try to get it from her". ;)

Not a good first dog, but if you all are experinced with working dogs, get one!
