Route 66

Hey just a couple days into my Route 66 trip, very interesting and fun trip… here’s just a few pictures … Don gave me a good deal on some wheels in St. Louis…thanks fellow MOPAR man… motorheads in Springfield Illinois was awesome!!!!

we did the Mother Road in 2018 in our 77 Ramcharger. We absolutely loved it, and hope to do it again in the future

I'll start in Oklahoma when I do it. I ain't steppin foot in Illinois because of their gun laws.

It was fun driving the 30 mi to my retirement part time job at the west edge of Sprigfield, Mo. about 10-12 mi of it on old Rt. 66. But what was cool was eating at a cafe that had been there since 66 started. Finally closed down. There was a similar cafe on old 66 in Tulsa. Just cool atmosphere, you could actually feel the history, and home cooking.

We did the whole route west to east this year. What a great trip! So much to see and do...
