Running Lean?

Ok so I jetted this thing back to stock jets 60/83 and now it seems to stumble a little bit and hestitate in different spots between 1000-3000 rpm. Also it smells like its running WAY rich which it didn't with the larger jets in it. Weird I know, lol. Its also suckin gas like crazy with the smaller jets. Gonna go middle ground with the jets and see what it does.

1st. get the timing right, Then jet it up in the primaries & get it were it feels good, then start jetting the rear, you really need some track time, jet for best MPH, But remember, Running the fastest MPH at the track with result in a richer condition on the street in stop & go traffic, But you can clean up the low speed curcuit & that'll help.

By the looks of those plugs, it is jetted high but has a clean idle curcuit keeping the porcelain clean, IMO, the idle curcuit is dead on & the heat range is about right. Timing & heat range can be determined by the marks on the ground strap, Heat range also can be seen by the thread pattern.
