ONE LAST CRUISE: David Jones died Saturday after crashing his classic car while driving home from a car show. He was driving his prized 1964 Barracuda Sport Coupe at the time. Jones started building cars when he was 16 years old. His son says there are hundreds of cars on the road built by his dad. His family is now trying to organize one last cruise to escort his dad to the cemetery on Thursday, April 27th in Grove.

His son asked for our help getting the word out. He said, "I'm sending this to any and all gear-heads that might be able to get the word around maybe get it to all who knew him. I understand y'all probably get this a lot, but I wouldn't be a good son if I didn't try."

The funeral service is in Grove, Okla. on Grand Lake at 1 p.m. The family plans to take him for one last cruise at 2 p.m. I'm waiting on details of exactly where the funeral is being held - when I know I will update this post with the correct information.

PLEASE SHARE...so any "cruisers" close by can give Mr. Jones his final ride

After looking at his pic, I don`t think it was the David Jones I used to work with, but was he ever a plumber, and car painter ?
