Sad times indeed.....another drag strip closes, this time.....Sacramento CA.

I raced there a few times over the years but wasn't an avid drag race guy. Our Sacramento Mopar club was involved in some of the Mopar specific events. It was fun while it lasted but the owner has been trying to sell for over 6 years. I was told that the county specifically stated that once any new owner takes over, drag racing will not be allowed so this sale means the end.

Sad for sure. My buddies and I went out there a couple times a month our senior in high school (1999-2000) for the street legal drags on Weds. We had a lot of good times at that track. I guess all good things have to come to an end eventually.
