i'm ashamed to say i haven't driven this Devil in a year. It's been in the back corner just sitting and collecting dust while all of my attention went to the Moparbishi http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=210254 . Saturday I put a new Demon Carb ( how fitting ) on it then washed it and drove around the neighborhood and man, what a beautiful feeling it is driving a REAL Muscle car again. i cannot believe how time gets away from you when it comes to projects and life involvement. anyway, just very happy to have it back to a driver. things to do on the list for now: buchillon kick down cable i bought from a member here, 8.75 rear swap, i have new axle bearings and a seal kit. get the drive shaft cut, it has a 8.25 in it now. front end kit from PST and go through the brakes. once that is done and everything tweaked, i have a 4.10 489 case with a spool and some drag radials ready to go for a track day. i'm hoping for 12's :burnout: 5.9 magnum 380HP crate with a TCI trans/converter... think i'll hit that mark ?

That sure looks familiar. Nice looking Demon. You deserve a good wack up the side of the head for not driving it for a year though.

12's shouldn't be to hard with that combo.

I think a lot will ride on the tires

I know with my duster (480 HP 408) and 3.23 gears I struggle to get traction
(of course, I'm still running the same tires that were on there when it was a /6 car)
