Safe venting of Gas tank 70 Dart

The original tank and the new tank have 4 nipples on the upper left of the gas tank. I deleted the hose/vent system that was attached to them

My plan is to close of the nipples
And use a vented cap, which I already have.

Will that be sufficient?
 
The non vented tanks have a vent high in the filler neck. It forms an upward loop then follows the filler neck down through the sealing boot, where it terminates in the left rear frame rail.

Get this filler neck. From where ever you like, even used or Whatever.
1967-1969 Dart and Valiant fuel filler neck.

And use a non vented cap.
