Safety Loop

Hi All,
Can I get some advice please on the positioning of a tailshaft safety loop.
I have decided I need to install a safety loop but I am unsure exactly how far back from the 904 it needs to be positioned to do the job right if needed.

The NHRA rules require a driveshaft loop within 6" of the front U-joint when your car is capable of 13.99 quarter mile times with slicks or 13.00 with street tires. Have you checked out MagnumHP? MagnumHPthey have a real easy one for us Mopa-dopes, bolts right on with the cross member.

After seeing a car drop a tailshaft without a loop there is no way I would even consider the strip without fitting one first. It was only a chev, but it made a mess!
