Satin Black paint code? Need quickly if anyone knows!

My Valiant is finally getting somewhere!!!!

My buddy is now asking me what the paint code is for the Satin Black I want on the hood.

Anyone have advice on a newer "better" version of satin black fo the hood?

Or possibly the original paint code for the satin black?

PPG has a clear called flexed and flat. It is not flat but has the satin look that you are wanting.

its called Black out used on ford mustangs. I bought a gallon at napa washes easy and don't stain. I also did the wing and scoop. it matches the stripes perfect.

I am a little scared to give him a "factory" code just because Im not sure how it will come out, and whether or not it washes easy, doesnt stain, etc....

Fortunately I trust him very much so I have also asked his opinion for what he has used in the past and also the fact that I may apply "wedge" decals to the hood, as well as apply satin vinyl stripes to the rear. I want it to work well.

Wonder how it would look on light bezels, grilles, and emblems?

I am wondering the same thing. Ill have to get some for the radiator core support, the grill inset areas, possibly the painted set of tail light housings (I have a better chrome pair too)

Ill probably see if I can get any of it thats left over for these extras I want to do.
