Well went to machine shop and Him and I came up with new plan! Now it has .030 over kb107 pistons zerodecked,Eddy rpm 60779 heads,AirGap,Comp Ultra Pro Magnum roller rockers! The cam is XS274 cam with 502/511 lift and 236/242 @50 and holley 650dp!Compression will be 10.5-10.8!Heads will be flowed and bowlblended and gasket matched with intake!Rest of combo is 727 with 2800 stall and 8.75 with 4.10 or 4.30 gear with 28in tire!Has anybody ran this same or close setup and how did it perform!Does this sound good for 1983 dodge d150 shortbed 2wd with 2.5 exhaust with dynomax ultraflos!

My Machinist to me at first was a pecker head would know warranty my 360 with KB 107 pistons,we went with 20 over TRW pistons and I have reved the hell out of that 360,ya he is a pecker head.Thats a good piston your combo soundsssss killer.

Well he just doing block and head work but i am assembling it myself, cant afford for him to build it but he is gonna dyno it for me!Just hope sounds good and have some torque just wanted to see if anybody runs cam because he talked me out of voodoo 60404 saying XS274 would have more power and torque and he gave me deal on heads and rockers!

I had a similar engine in my Barracuda: 360/727, 3200 stall, MP 292/.509 hydraulic cam, Edelbrock heads, 750dp, JE pistons, 10.8:1 comp, 4.10 gear, 28" tire, 3250# car.

It ran 12.4's @ 111 mph....not sure about in a truck, but I would bet you have 12 second potential (depending on suspension/traction and such).

The one thing I would change is take your 650dp carb and replace the main body with a 750 Proform main body. They cost ~100 bucks, but when I did that to my 650dp, I picked up 3 tenths and a little over 3 mph in the 1/4 mile...no joke.

Well keeping the 360 with voodoo 60403 cam and jheads, but bought the eddy heads and roller rockers and gonna use them on my next build which is 318/390!
