Scamp Dart bumper interchange ?

I have a '74 Scamp and just found a '71 Dart bumper... has anyone installed an older bumper on a newer body? I'm wondering if the '71 bumper brackets will bolt on in the correct place, I'll need the lower panel but what about the '74 quarter extensions? Are they the same as the earlier ones? Would the '74 quarter extensions look right... anyone know what is all needed?

You need the whole front clip. You'll need the rear valance as well; that means finding a donor, and drilling out the spot welds all day. You'll also have to modify the trunk floor to accommodate the flat style of the 72, the 74 has the bump in's for the shocks.

Thanks ! I didnt find this post , kinda what I figured. I'm capible of doing the work but I dont have a doner car and new metal blows my budget. I wonder if narrowing the bumpers would look good?
