Scamp VS Dart Swinger

Is there any difference in the front bumper on a 73-76 Scamp to a Swinger? I cannot find one for a Swinger but saw that AAR has one for a Scamp. I didn't think there was any difference.
 
Essentially the Scamp and all of its associated parts come from a chlorine-enriched end of the Chrysler Gene Pool when you compare it to the Almighty Swinger. Should you be foolish enough to try to place a Scamp part on the Swinger it will be outright rejected by the Swinger's anti-Scamp antibodies. The Swinger's inner peace will immediately be disturbed, and it will sense the alien presence of the Scamp part. Metal will fly and bolts will shred from the violent physical reaction of the Swinger shedding itself of the offending Scamp part.

I went to the AAR website and looked through the PDF of the catalog.

Your car (1973 dart swinger) has same front end as a 1973-6 dart sport. They offer a bumper for it. It is part number 1141 FB Dart Sport Front Bumper price : $149

PS my dart sport has one fender from another dart sport and another from a 4 door dart custom. its all good!!
 
I thought that the Dodge Dart Sport was the same as a Duster????????? Not a Swinger. Am I wrong here ? What was the Plymouth version of the Dart ????

A Duster, Demon, Dart Sport all have the same back ends and are 108in wheel base cars.


A Dart, Scamp have the same back ends and are both 111in wheel base cars.



The Dart, Dart sport, and Demon all shared front ends.


The Duster, and Scamp shared the same front end.




That is it in a nut shell. There is a little bit more to it then that but not much. The interchange in the 67-75 A bodies is very good. They did not change them a whole lot over the years.
 
So let's pose this question then. i am building a 74 Dart Swinger and a friend of my Dad's has an entire fiberglass front end off a Dart Sport. It would fit?
 
And on another note, when i am buying interior stuff for my Scamp, I can buy Dart items? I.E. Door panels and such, as nobody lists Scamps.

Yes you can. It is the same car as a Dart. The only big difference is it has a Duster front end on it. So if you ever need front end sheet metal you need to get it for a Duster and Not a Dart.
