Has anyone actually done one of the conversions to front discs with the Scarebird Mechanical kit? I REALLY want to keep my small-pattern rallyes and have been considering this swap. Not to mention it looks like you can do it CHEAP. They basically sell you a bracket to bolt on your spindle and you supply the chevy celebrity rotors and calipers and new hoses and master cylinder. The rotors of course have to be drilled to the 5 on 4 bolt pattern which doesn't look like a big deal with some care and a decent drill press. The company guarantees that the brakes will fit with the small pattern rallyes. I'm seriously considering going ahead with this swap, but if anybody has any pros or cons I'd sure like to hear them.

I have the brackets for the rear disc kit but havent done the swap yet.

I considered it, but decided on genuine Mopar parts instead and put small bolt Kelsey Hayes discs on my '65 Barracuda. They fit like a dream and work flawlessly. A little more expensive, but all Mopar, no Chevy and no "Scary" Scarebird manufactured bracket thing......
