SCCA Track Night in America

We just ran at NJ Motorsports Park in Millville Wednesday night. A lot of young people showed up with their cars. Of course I had the oldest car there and was twice the average age. There were 27 in the Novice group. It was fun. My son brought an Evo and I had to wave him past a couple of times.

It took a few laps to learn the track and line. On the last run I was hanging with a Lotus and a Porsche for a couple of laps. The car held up great, other than smelling the brake pads at the end of the main straight. Even at that they didn't fade. Over all a very memorable night.

Man, a Baracuda inside the "Blue Bushes" at Watkins. What was the occasion for that rare sight?

The Watkins Glen outing was with Chin Motor Sports. It was a two day track event. They have them all over the country at the big tracks. It was the most fun I have had with the car. I was slow there too, but looked and sounded good, LOL.
