Does anyone use these. Do u need the block or head O ringed. Part number SCE064384. .043 compressed thickness. 4.380 bore. Will they work with a 4.380 bore? Or will the fire run g be to close to the bore. Thanks. Kim

If that is a gasket with the wire built in I'd pass unless you cut a groove in the block Felpro makes something similar but it's not in copper.

Unless you really need a copper gasket, I'd use something else. They are a PITA to seal water and oil.

To b done correctly, a copper gasket should have a stainless steel wire in the head and a receiver groove in the block. And you still have to get oil and water sealed up.

I used copper gaskets on 498 with Indy heads. I bought the Isky oring tool and only grooved and wired the block. I used red hi temp silicone on coolant passages and cooper sprayed the gaskets. It ran 8.90s with a 200 shot in a back half duster and never leaked a drop. I believe it was .040 4.380 gasket, block was 4.375. ....... That was then, long before Cometic's.
The felpro 1009 work great also
