I need hardware to put my armrests on my '70 Dart. I assume that they are screws as i tried a bolt and it did not work. Does anyone know if i need to order something specific or can i find the right size at a hardware store?

Also, my dart did not come with any hood springs. I bought a pair off of ebay that came off a 68 Barracuda. I assume that they will fit since they are the same body. I just wanted to check that they will fit before i take the fenders off to put them on.

Thanks

They are screws that you can find at a hardware store. I`m not certain of the size but they`re about 3/16 -1/4 x 2.5 inches long with a phillips head. I got a set in a kit of interior screws from Year One and the armrest screws were too short ,so I don`t suggest using them. Perhaps someone will chime in and give you the exact width and length. The hinges should work for you as well.

ok, i'll get some and give em a try. Thanks alot!!

Sorry, gotta revive this thread. lol
I just measured one of the screws in my '70 Valiant and it's 1/4" X 2 3/4" long
Could only find 2.5 or 3 inch screws at local hardware store.
So, should I go the 1/4" longer or shorter? Worried about hitting the glass.
thanks

Shorter might catch, might not. If you find one a 1/4" longer, you could always take it down some with a bench grinder, just look at the point end before you start and try and mimic it when you are done.
