Does anyone have a picture of the seal that is glued underneath the top stainless windshield trim? I have a 69 barracuda convertible, I remember when I took it apart there was some kind of a rubber seal underneath the wide stainless trim across the top of the windshield. On another note does anybody know where to get this replacement seal?
Let me know
Thanks

It’s not rubber, it’s more like foam, and it’s a bear to get off. I got mine off by scraping it as much as I could, then used some Goo Gone yo get the glued part off. Then I used some weatherstripping that they sell to seal a window air conditioner to the window frame. It has the sticky backing and the foam is thick enough to keep the stainless from rattling, which is why it was originally there. It also helps keep water running up the window up under the stainless

I believe DMT has what you need. I had sent Jim all of mine when Realwing was looking for the same parts and I believe he started making them
