Ssnake Oly rewebs seat belts, why trust 50+ year old stitching when you can have the peace of mind of new belts with better materials. The company mentioned is a bit pricey, but I've had some of their belts in my street cars and the worked out great.

They usually have a booth at Carlisle. Five years ago they took mine in, disassembled, rebuilt the mechanism, painted the lift plate, rewebbed the belts. For the perfect resto folks, they even install factory cloth tags for extra cost. They came back perfect!
