I'm wanting to replace the low back seats in my 67 dart gt with a more comfortable high back. Has anyone done this without major surgery to the floor pan. What about universal seat tracks like the ones classic industries sells? Wouldn't mind heated but not necessary. Appreciate any input.

I just did my 67 cuda. Used the pro-car buckets and mounted them to my factory tracks. Same reason, didn't wanna ruin my floor with extra holes.

I wouldn't call drilling new holes as major surgery or ruining my floor. Do what ya gotta do to get the seat you want. Factory hi-buckets will bolt right in.

I fit a set of highbacks from a 77 Volare RoadRunner in my Demon.
Just had to oval the holes in the A body seat tracks and they fit.
I'd imagine any F or M body (or J maybe) seats would work.

If I were in need of an interior I'd be looking into a retrofit setup.

But mine is decent so I deal with the lowbacks
