Dictionary:
Secret race car- noun - A car that you can drive fast on the inside but doesn't go fast on the outside. A cheap car that the police feel so bad they will not write you a ticket.
Examples: Pinto 4 speed, any Fiat, Vega, 307 Chevelle, etc, etc

This is what I bought for just over scrap prices.

A one owner, running, 4 speed, almost rust free, new tires and brakes.
1979 Plymouth Volare. \6 AC.

I know I need side window seals first. The the one piece spoiler:burnout:

A volare with a 360 can have some serious spunk but a bent 6 is no slouch either. It also has a WAY better suspension than it probably deserves. I'd still watch out for the Omni GLH but nice sleeper! -LY

Hey I bet that 4 speed puts some of the fun back into that six.

Bet it gets good MPG too.

I thought PT cruisers were dogs until I bought one with a 5 speed.
That thing is a blast to drive.
Not a rocket by any means but me and the wife both love it.

I belive its a good car. I have never had a \6 with a 4 speed. So the slow car part was a joke. The fun will be in changing gears. I have owned a Fiat... not a good car for a fat person like me. Is the square shift knob common?
