Sema 2010 5 Speed update

I got lucky and got to go to SEMA this year and I stopped by the McLeod booth and talked to one of their techs.

Basically they are having to do the gears themselves as the company they were going to get them from did not come through. They are re testing and hopefully will be out in 2011.

Here comes the excuses from them......march 2010....now 2011.....I will believe they are releasing it when I see it.....and that it will be as durable as they claim it will be and fit without any surgery after it is installed and real world tested....

i remember a couple of years ago there was an article in mopar mucle or action where they took a 833 hemi trans and installed a 5 gear on the reverse rod...

why not just do a Hurst Driveline 5 speed conversion swap. Thats what I did on mine and its killer!

I'm waiting for Jamie Passon's 5-speed. McLeod will put out the Chevy trans first, then the Ford trans. Mopar will be down farther on the list as always.
