Sending unit fitment question!

Quick question,
I need a new sending unit. Heard the e-bay ones dont always work right so I was going to go with the Goodmark one from Summit.

First off, does this work with the stock fuel guage? as in, any issues with it not reading properly? And secondly, does this sending unit fit the tank and work properly? It states its for an E-body, but its a 3/8" and I'd like to do the upgrade from 5/16" since I'm replacing it anyway...

I got my as tank and sending unit from Gastanks.com I had no issues with fitment. I also used the 5/16ths sender. I used the Fineline's 5/16ths fuel line as well.
