Sending Unit

I think my fuel filter/sock in the tank of my Demon may be stopped up, and I need to remove it. Any suggestions for pulling the pickup/filter/sending unit out? Can it be done without dropping the tank, or does the rear diff get in the way?

You can get it out while the tank is in place. No real trick to it.

It might have more clearance if you support the body and let the axle hang.
I don't remember for sure, but I think my axle was hanging when I changed mine.

That's right. That's how I did mine and it was a breeze.
