My tranny points down 3.3 degrees and the driveshaft is up 4.3 degrees and the pinion is down 2.8 degrees as I measure on the snubber location. Does this seem correct? I feel like I have a vibration on acceleration. What should I do?
This is a 904 with a gearvendors, 8 3/4 rear in a 72 dart.

Your pinion angle is -6.1. That's kind of steep for a street car.

you might try a 2* shim, fat side to the front, rolling the pinion up and see if that helps,

What should the angle be? around -4 to 5? Is not the pinion angle -7.1 now?

Tranny down + pinion down = pinion angle

-3.3 + (- 2.8 ) = -6.1
same as
-3.3 - 2.8

For you to be at zero the pinion would have to be rotated UP 6.1 degrees to get it to a 3.3* up, matching the trans 3.3* down orientation.

I don't every use the driveshaft to figure it out. It's about getting the output and pinion planes correct for me. Last Demon I did I set it at -5 on a decent street car. Doesn't vibrate and the car works relatively well.

Leave the driveshaft out. Add/subtract the vertical of the tailshaft, and vertical of the pinion.
