Hello,
I have a 71' 360,727,3.91 gears.
mopar distributor, and the orange box no one likes.
Trying to set ignition timing any pointers?
thanks.

advance until it doesn't want to start, back it down. Then see what the initial is , then pull mech advance out of dist, to get back to total advance @ 34, 36, per the compression and gas being run.

I have a MSD 6-AL I ran on a chevy how big of a deal is it to wire it into what I have?
My first Mopar, Learning.
I will feel alot better about it once I can get the motor out this winter and see what I have.
I Know it has way to big of a cam in it now for what I want.
Plan on street driving with the occasional bracket street class racing.
Pretty high stall converter, not sure what it is.
its a 74' 360 special high performance block with small valve heads, that much I know.
not really happy with the carb. and intake set up. 318 streetmaster, and a 4160 600 vacuum secondary.
Tried running a 570 street avenger 4150 I had did not work.
with the cam in it there is very low manifold vacuum, and slow warm up.
would like to get to run a little better so I can enjoy it the rest of the summer. It loves WOT,decent power.
swapped in Champion plugs that helped.
Fun car glad I bought it.

Great thanks.
I will swap it in this weekend. I think the orange box is my problem.
This should solve it.
