Shift linkage

OK guys, here is one that I have got mixed responses from at other sites... Im wanting to run my manual reverse 727 from the old colum shifter thats in my parts car thats a /6 904 car. I know it will work, but will the linkage mount up on the 360/727 combo just as it is on the /6 904? Or will I need to tweek it a little. Im going for the pro street sleeper look & would love to run the gears thru the colum shifter. Thanks..

Should mount up just fine although you might have to adjust it a little for proper operation.

Thanks, I would like to run it that way but I really like the B&M pro stick thats in it now. Very simple operation. I have a bad feeling that 2nd will be easy to miss if I run it through the colum.....

Anyone know if someone like Lokar makes a cable shifter to replace the hard linkage? looked all over Lokars web site & all I seen was stuff for Chebies...?..
