Shifter Cable Adjustment

What is the best way to dial in the b&m shifter? I think I am real close right now. I put the quicksillver in park and then had the trans as far as it would go toward park position. Then I connected the cable at both ends. Is it better to do this with Neutral or park?

Also, I ended up using an Art Carr shifter cable and modifiying to fit the b&M. Art Carr makes a way better cable then the B&M POS.

Neutral, then check (takes a buddy) to click it through, will you lay under the car, confirming, with a judicial shake of the trans lever.

Not sure what Morse is? They are similar but the Art Carr is thicker and much smoother. Hopefully more durable as well.
