OI have a 71 Duster with a slant 6 and 904 trans going to swap in a 360 with a 727. The 360 came out of a 88 D250 so I doubt it's shift linkage will work will the linkage off the 904 work for the 727 it's a column shift also?

They are different but you can modify it to work. They also now sell a repop of the column shift 727 linkage. I’ve seen them on eBay.
