Shock Help

Is there something missing on my top shock mount. If I tighten up the nut it bottoms out on thread before the shock is tight on stud. I have at least a 1/2 inch gap. I took shocks off a while ago and now cant remember how it went together.

Maybe this will help you. Also I would use a thin coat of lithum grease as the shock should be farther in on the shoulder of the bolt.

If your working on an A body you need to get the correct retainer washers and nut in the drawing PST sent.
