Anyone here move their rear axle back and used factory style shock mounts? I moved mine back 1-1/2” and I’m curious how you mounted your shocks. Stock location is out of the question, but I was thinking about cutting a hole in the floor plan and the shock mount tube while using a shorter bolt to utilize the factory location. Just curious how other members mounted their shocks. I’m not opposed to cutting up the floor, I’m just wondering if anyone found an easier way. Using a Caltrac mounting bracket with HR22142 Calvert Racing shocks. Rear end is back braced so I can’t lean the shocks forward to use the factory location.
