show off the garage

-
Well here is my garage. Well let me start off by saying I am very fortunate to have it and an understanding wife. As we only bought this house a year ago and from the time we bought it she had insisted that she have a spot in the garage for her daily driver for the winter. As you can see in the picture snow is on the ground and there is no eclipse in the garage.

Second is my shop I spend most weekends/nights at (its about 5 miles from my house ) Again my wife was willing to work with me when we made our budget and let me work the shop rent into it. I KNOW SHE HAS A ALTERNATIVE MOTIVE BUT I JUST DON'T KNOW YET Lol

6x6 post-from a machinery crate
man door- free, someone was throwing it away
sheet metal- left over from a building site
both garage doors- free throwaways
paint- miss-matches (dic-counted) from lowes and home depo
DC-10- lots of off the clock labor

Talk about a great way to recycle a Jet Liner. You did a great job.

Hey we just moved in October. The first two photos are my last shop which was about 25x45 detached heated garage (here in Ontario two months of 20 degrees below freezing is not unusual) with a single door, but room for 3 cars and a tool/work room. I was there for 15 years so it was pretty well set-up for my needs.

The next three are of the new one is a three door 2 1/2 bay attached, about 500 sq/ft smaller. However it does have a basement entry. Once its set up with shelves etc,,, it should work as well as the last one. No heat yet and its been 25 below freezing which is why its such a mess! Cant wait for warmer weather.

BTW my 67 Dart driver convert ended up outside. My wife's Sebring convert just got a new top and paint and I got the boot outside!!
