Does anyone recognize this Demon? It looked like a slant 6 in the quick walk-by in the videos. It was at the Carlisle Chrysler car show in 2024 and 2025... It's not totally correct, but was a hell of a nice Demon...

Here is my 73 Dart .
Its original miles,,original paint, and original interior.
It’s not perfect by any stretch,,,but it’s really nice .
Yes,,,that odometer reads 24,500 miles if you expand the pic enough .
That engine runs just like new,,and it drives just like new too .
It’s a sweet old machine,,I was lucky to find it .

Previous owner added the Clifford intake and the headers
I added the rear Dodge decals,,and flip top cap .

Tommy

Engine bay has a bunch of detail painting left to do but tossed this together out of spare parts.

In 1970 one street over from where I lived, a girl Gloria was here name bought a Plum Crazy convertible Barracuda Slant Six.
Black top and Ralley Wheels. She would drive by everyday on her way to work.
I still see it if I close my eyes. Good looking car and girl.

Hi, I'm dne', I've been hiding in my build thread for almost 3 years! I now have my '63 Dart road worthy now, even went to get ice cream today!! I was inspired by Tincups build, but nothing like it really. It's a Super Six(2 barrel carb) 9.34:1 compression, A833 transmission, 8.25 rear axle 3.55 gear, American racing wheels made rear wheels with 5.25 back spacing 255/60 rear tires to fit in the mini tubbed/leaf spring relocation. Battery in trunk. AC of course mini Sanden compressor, mini Alternator, Roll master timing chain to correct smogged crank, Miata nb bucket seats and bucket seats in the rear. I'm trying to keep it short!
It's been a heck of a ride !! Much thanks to the guys watching helping me along the journey :thankyou:

Found the '63 at a salvage yard, it said "take me home"

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

My 30k mile Dart. Sold it, bought my 62 Dart.
Never saw a trunk floor like that before.
It didn't need anything, so nothing to do.

Selling that one looks like a mistake.... You don't see them like that anymore without needing ALOT of work to get them there

Mistake is relative. Drove a full year, enjoyed, showed, appreciated and respected it.
Impressive original car, even had a number of factory 'errors.'

Learned a lot, for example, jack hook on the wheelwell in the trunk should have a tiny piece of felt on it.

No regrets selling it. Sold to buy/fix my 62 Dart, which needed everything.
It's not a slant 6, so can't post pics here :)

Omg that's awesome! So you're one of the few elite people that understands what's going on in the mind of a person when you see them dragging a junk car home... Most people just don't get it.. Every time I drag one home I get the stank-eye from friends, family, neighbors, and the code enforcement officer...

So is this post saying that your build thread is finally done and now your driving and showing it?

Thank you Tom~ I do understand and excited when seeing a classic in need of attention~ imagining in my head the finished product. As for my little Dart~ yes, I consider today for it to be "finished" even though it's not~ there's the little things that's harder than big things! lol Anxious for the first Nifty50ees or a car gathering. Thank you!!

ps; forgot to put some seat pictures;)
