Before I destroy my vehicle any further, can anyone clue me in on how to install the lower trim piece on my 62 Valiant? I've managed to straighten out the trim piece, but my brain is not processing how these clips work.

You slide them in the back of the channel then you rotate them so they go behind the lip on the top and bottom... Need to get the nut off from behind unfortunately and put them on the moulding first... I do believe.

Thank you, Jim. I've been trying to slide the piece onto the installed mounts. I figured the 'S' shape of the clips was there for sliding reasons.
More for twisting into the channel reason.
