I have purchesed 74 LBP brakes for my 71 Swinger. I am in the process of putting it back together but need something. I am wondering how the spindles are connected to the lower ball joint. The bolts that came with the brakes dont thread into the spindle. Is there suposed to be a nut on the bolt? Not sure. I already got rid of my KH brakes so not sure if they are even the same. Can some one help me out with a pic or some info? Thanks. If this don't make since I will blame the beer.

Yes, there are nuts for the bolts that hold the lower ball joint to the spindle.

Thanks tom for the link. I now have seen other setups that have been done and this helps me.
Now what I need to know is what size the bolts/nuts are? I don't have them and can't move on to the next step without them. Again thanks.
