Simple Distributor Stand, handy.

Working on your distributor and it is flopping around on you, hard to hold it in a good work position?

Here is a simple Folgers Coffee container repurposed into a distributor stand.

Attach the coffee container to a 8x8" piece of plywood

I have a hole drilled near the edge of my beat up wood folding table and clamp it in place.

Now you just need to get a motor and rpm gauge

Almost like it was made for that purpose.

I LOVE finding stuff like that.

run a dist drive threw your work bench and hook a drill up to it
then make vroom vroom sounds when you pull the trigger

And then there is the v8 distributor cap/base inverted distributor stand.

Have to have the rotor upper short shaft removed.

The remaining main shaft neatly pokes into the center coil lead hole, and the outer distributor housing rests firmly on the 8 outer raised spark plug wire lead towers.
