Must be from a truck, dang that thing is huge.
The hole in the bellhousing for the throw out bearing is on the passenger side.....
I would say the application for the bell and transmission is very unique and for sure not an A body.

When I was at the airport, we had an old Hyster off road forklift with a 4-speed & six.
The transmission drove the front wheels, so the engine was at the rear, transmission forward.
This one may be from something similar?
